Built for DJs who play a different room every week

No two gigs are the same. One night it's a wedding, the next a school dance or a corporate party, each with a different crowd to win over. Rekwest gives you a fast read on every room and keeps you in control of the music, whatever the event.

A different crowd every gig

Live requests and voting give you an instant read on an unfamiliar room, so you find the floor at a wedding one night and a corporate party the next without guessing.

One QR code for every event

Use a universal QR code that always points to your current gig, print it once and reuse it at every show, or generate a fresh code and link for each event.

Only requests you can play

Restrict requests to your own repertoire so you're never asked for tracks you don't have, and approve every request before it plays so you stay in control of your set.

How Mobile DJs manage Song Requests

1

Setup

Before each gig, you create an event with details such as name, start time, duration, and more. Rekwest generates a unique QR code or link guests scan or open to request songs straight from their browser, with no app to install. Pick from various QR poster styles to match the night, and reuse a single universal code across every gig instead of making a new one each time. Song requests can optionally be restricted to tracks present in your own repertoire, so you only get asked for music you can actually play.

2

During the Event

As the night unfolds, requests and votes appear in real time, so you can read an unfamiliar crowd at a glance and decide what to accept or decline. When you accept a track, it can be exported automatically to Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, or queued into your DJ software such as Serato, Rekordbox, VirtualDJ, djay, or Traktor. You can also let guests add tips and messages to their requests, earning extra income during your set while you engage with the room.

3

Post-Event

After the gig, send a follow-up email to attendees to promote your services and win your next booking. Rekwest also provides analytics showing which songs were most requested and which drove the most engagement, so every crowd makes you sharper for the next one.
